Academic competitions are an important part of the TAMS experience, and in order to get the most out of these competitions, TAS's Competitions Committee helps students learn beyond the classroom by hosting review sessions, compiling resources, and helping students get to know various competition formats. Our committee heads are dedicated to helping each and every student excel and win awards at competitions about any subject. This year, the Committee heads plan on helping students prepare for the USA Biology Olympiad (USABO), USA Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO), history competitions, and literature competitions.

Competitions Committee Head
Hey y’all!! My name is Srish Tallapaneni and I’ll be one of your TAS Competitions Directors alongside Paarth Jamdagneya for the 2022-2023 school year. In addition to Competitions Co-Director, I’ll also be one of your committee heads for Project Smile’s Active Minds as well as Eureka! Competitions coordinator. Before coming to TAMS on the traditional science track, I attended Dulles High School in Sugar Land (Houston). In my free time, you can catch me on the tennis courts, eating oreos, drinking extensive amounts of boba tea, or unhealthily binging Netflix. Feel free to reach out (even if it’s not competitions related), and I can’t wait to work with you guys this school year!!

PAARTH JAMDAGNEYA
Competitions Committee Head
Hi guys! I’m Paarth Jamdagneya and I’m currently on the traditional science track. I’m one of your TAS competitions committee heads along with Swish Tallapaneni. Before TAMS, I lived in Allen and went to Allen High School. In my free time, you can catch me at Pohl Recreation Center playing basketball or sand volleyball.
